Club Night October - RNLI Lifejacket Clinic

 

For our October club night we have two special guests - Jim Crick and Simon Dalton both safety advisors with the RNLI.

Jim is a retired Yachtmaster examiner who has joined the RNLI community safety team to promote the RNLI respect the water campaign.


There will be an interactive talk about safety and then a chance to check out some life jackets. If you own a lifejacket please bring them along for a free check.

After this talk you will be comfortable with routine care and maintenance issues to help ensure that your life jacket will be ready to serve its purpose. This clinic will be useful even if you don't own a life jacket as you will know what to look for when you borrow one. Jim has found some horrors on charter boats.

This event is free but please sign up so we know you are coming.
There will be a collection on the night for RNLI plus we will handover our 2018 RNLI charity funds from the BBQ
