History

The RBYC was formed in 1994 by a group of would-be sailors studying for the RYA certificates ranging from Day Skipper, Coastal Skipper and Yacht Master.  The club has since grown into a sociable group of 120 like minded people with an interest in yacht sailing and having a great time doing it.

Aims

The aims of the club are to promote the sport of sailing and improve seamanship. We have a busy schedule of sailing, training and social activities which you can find by clicking here.

We also run a number of RYA training courses.
