Tuesday February 06th 2017 is the official AGM of The Royal County of Berkshire Yacht Club.
The Annual General Meeting is the night where Club Officers and Committee are elected to stand, to represent the Members and secure the future of the club for the next 12 months. It is also the night where the Officers and Committee formally report on the financial and non financial affairs of the Club - so you can find out what's happening and what's planned for the year ahead.
After the formal part of the AGM, we will be entertained by David Russell, Station PR Officer from National Coastwatch, Gosport with is talk entitled 'National Coastwatch – Eyes Along the Coast' NCI were one of our chosen charities last year. There will be an opportunity to make a 'donation' on the night to support their continued work in keeping us safe on the water.
Please could you indicate your attendance on the night by signing up for the 'event' .
There is the opportunity to help out with the running of the club:
Officers of the club are: Commodore, Vice-Commodore, Secretary, Cruising and Treasurer.
The Management committee is responsible for Social, Charity, Training, Website, Auditors, Chair of the Committee and Library.We also have committee positions "without portfolio" for those interested to generally help out.
If you would like to nominate yourself for an officer or committee position, please indicated your interest by ticking the buttons in the event. You can pick more than one position, You will need a proposer and seconder on the night to support you.
There are also opportunities to help out on the sub committees for cruising and social which can be discussed at the AGM.
