Michael Harpur never set foot on a yacht before he thought it a good idea to buy one and sail it around the world. Pointing southward, with a handful of sailing instruction books, he went on to become the 11th Irishman to undertake and successfully complete a circumnavigation in 1999.

Five years after his return, another offbeat idea occurred to him. One that would become a sailing revolution that changes sailing for all of us.
