RYA First Aid Course

We will run this course, when the COVID situation improves. If your First Aid is due or you have never done the course sign up to register interest and we will put on a course as soon as possible.
This RYA course is designed to teach attendees all aspects of first aid on a yacht. Whilst hopefully most of us are unlikely to finish up in a liferaft at sea most of us are likely to have to administer some kind of first aid when sailing. The course is broad ranging but particularly useful in covering the life threatening events that can occur on a boat like how to deal with an unconscious casualty, heart attacks,hypothermia etc.
If you sail regularly you should have your first aid up to date. (RYA First Aid only lasts 3 years)
If you are a Day skipper or Coastal skipper you must have your first aid up to date.
You will need to bring your lunch, notepad and pen.
