Cruising

Our charter-yacht cruises are good value as we usually get a club discount and do not have to pay for a skipper. The 2024 programme has been published - here's a link   Cruising Events 2024 v2.pdf

Training Programme  for early 2024

We currently have five courses scheduled. 

We will be teaching the Essential Navigation , Day Skipper and Yachtmaster courses at the Island Barn Sailing Club (West London). 

RYA Day Skipper Theory starting on January 13th 2024 for 2 days for 3 weekends (total 6 days)

RYA Yacht Master Theory starting on 10th February 2024 for 2 days for 3 weekends (total 6 days)

Diesel Engine course a one day course on 13 January 2024 (in Southampton).

RYA First Aid Course 2024  a one day course on 3rd February 2024 (at Island Barn SC).

RYA VHF Course 2024 on-line study followed by an exam on 4th February 2024 (at Island Barn SC).

Regular Club Meetings

We hold regular meetings on the first Tuesday of each month at the Binfield Club, RG42 4HP.  New or prospective members are very welcome at these. Some meetings may just be social gatherings but we also have club members or invited guests  as speakers at other meetings.  See our "Activities" listing.

For members who aren't local or can't make our meetings we encourage them to communicate with each other via Facebook or email and sometimes we arrange zoom links to our club meetings.  

Your committee meets each month, usually before the club meeting, and publishes the meeting minutes.
